Ford Zimbabwe Continues the Pink Raptor Legacy with 2025 Cancer Awareness Drive
Ford Zimbabwe proudly continued its impactful cancer awareness initiative this October with the return of the Pink Raptor, an icon that first captured national attention in 2024 when the campaign was launched. Now in its second year, the vehicle remains a bold symbol of solidarity, courage, and community-driven advocacy in the fight against cancer.
Building on the strong foundation laid in 2024, the 2025 campaign once again travelled across Harare, encouraging early detection, education, and open conversations around cancer. But more importantly, the campaign continued its commitment to tangible support.
This year’s drive culminated in a meaningful donation to the Cancer Association of Zimbabwe, where the Ford Zimbabwe team handed over essential chemotherapy medications, sanitary pads, and adult diapers — supplies that directly improve the comfort and care of patients undergoing treatment.
The donation was received by Ms. Linda Mazorodze, who supports the organisation’s fundraising efforts, and Mrs. J. Mavu, the Centre Manager. Both expressed heartfelt appreciation, noting that such contributions make an immediate and significant difference for patients facing overwhelming medical and financial challenges.
As the Pink Raptor continues its journey into 2025, it represents more than awareness — it reflects Ford Zimbabwe’s ongoing promise to stand with communities, drive compassion forward, and support those affected by cancer in meaningful, lasting ways.
